Kerplunk Quilt Completed!

Ta-da one finished quilt. 

Mike told me that he'd found the spout to the old watering can and it was looking Insta-worthy on the stone bench so I have worked the photo around it - oh and Mabel had to get involved too!

I like to hand-sew binding to the reverse of a quilt if I have the time rather than machine-sewing the whole thing as I find it relaxing. There's something about keeping warm under the quilt whist slowly progressing around the edge with tiny little repetitive stitches that I find relaxing - but I totally get why some quilter's hate it!

The Tula Pink fabric for this quilt top really pops - it's now bringing a burst of colour a grey sofa in the house.
